Zar mini alu 13
This is my Zar Mini Alu 13 which is a 3.9 metre SIB with an aluminium floor. It is powered by a 15hp Honda 4 stroke and comes with a snipe trailer. The entire package is under 3 months old. The engine has a 6 year warranty and the boat is still under its 2 year warranty (paperwork to show they are still in warranty). I have two fuel tanks, the original one that came with the engine and a bigger one I purchased. The smaller tank is 12 litres and the bigger one is 22.7 litres. The boat also comes with a ducks back cover.
I have mainly used the SIB on the river Dee but recently we have found a seasonal pitch on Anglesey and I have used the boat around Bulls Bay and gone as far as Benlech. The engine has been run through after each trip in the sea. There is a small scrape right at the bottom of the engine, underneath the propeller, where I managed to scrape against a rock. Other than that the engine is in really good condition.
On a calm day the sib can do around 23mph (measured on a gps app on my phone) and this was with 3 adults in.
This is a great boat for going from bay to bay in but I am selling as I want to get a RIB so I can venture further out to sea.
