2002 Tornado 645 Adventure RIB with 2021 Honda 150Hp Outboard
This Tornado 645 Adventure has been owned in the family since 2009 and used as a family boat until 2023. I then set up a RYA Powerboat School and Coded the RIB under MECAL MCA 3R. As part of the coding this Tornado 645 Adventure benefitted from a full refit with lots of new equipment and parts to bring it up to a very high standard.
The Tornado 645 Adventure hull is a very capable Deep-Vee offshore hull and provides excellent comfort and safety out at sea in a wide range of conditions.
Powered by a 2021 Honda 150Hp outboard engine (with just 356 hours), the boat is capable of 42 knots and cruises very comfortably at 25 knots. At cruising speed the engine uses only 19 LPH, making it economical to run. The engine has been serviced as per the Honda service schedule, with the latest service being undertaken in August 2023 at 300 hours.
This Tornado 645 Adventure would make a perfect family rib or could be brought into the fleet of RYA centre looking to have the ultimate training rib.
