Good Luck to you all.
Have been thinking about this journey and keeping fringers crossed.
Seems strange to be back on the Forum, but nice to recognise some names from the past.
Will keep my eyes on the forum from now on again!
Good luck to you four on the Jolly Sailor.
Good to see you in Cardiff Jan, during the powerboat racing.
Next time, we gotta have a pint, and I will not be working!!!

Thank you Alan & Clive for the honour of a signed copy of Confronting Poseidon. Extremely glad to hear Steve's OK. Wonderful that you have such a great crew with you this time. Sorry to hear about the bruises, why can't you have good weather for a change. Hoping to be standing by Hurst Castle Sat 09/08/03 Noon to cheer you safely home. All the very best.

Not a message to the crew I know, but I can't help wondering how Steve Lloyd is these days.
Anyone know?

He made a good recovery and is well again, although like all the crew I think he's suffered from the stress and the strain of the expedition!
I'm sure he'll be in Portsmouth for the welcome home party on 9 August. Are you coming?
John

Thanks John - good to hear he is OK.
Next weekend we're off up the Western Isles so won't be in your neck of the woods on 9th.
My plans were made around the 'real' party in Bangor NI this weekend. we're off there in a couple of hours and I see that Alan is still scheduled to arrive there today and give a talk tomorrow ........
I dare say we'll just have to force ourselves to have a good time without him!
Our next trip down south is later on this month for the Cowes-Torquay.
Allen

Relief!
Hi to the crew of the Jolly Sailor!
Dad, you have no idea how relieved I was to hear from you today on the Sat phone! I get updates from the news or from Roma but it is still sooooo much better to hear from you in person.
Keep up the good work. We are all very proud of you and the rest of the crew!
Love, Deana Trevor, Talia, Arnold, Norman and Jason
