Messages to the crew
Post your messages here!
Clive and the rest of the crew can't easily read the forums as their satellite internet connection is too slow, but I'll try to email as many messages as possible direct to the boat.
John

Best Wishes guys
Best of luck on your journey across the Atlantic. I know you are expecting some poor conditions mid week, but I know you will deal with them admirably.
Arrived home safely today - had a great experience out there filming you guys preparing for this trip.
And final word goes to Eg - you are a great guy and a terrific ambassador for the food bank that you represent. Thank you for helping make my trip to Newfoundland such an enjoyable one.
Bon voyage!

Keep it up lads.
Good luck. See you Friday - I intend making the first unsupported crossing of the Irish Sea via the polar route to Bangor just to see you all, stopping en route only to photograph the boat amongst the ice floes.
Er, I think it is anyway........
Allen

Good to hear you
Hi Eg,
Great to hear your voice on CBC radio as you were nearing Greenland. All the Garden staff wish you and the crew a safe and speedy journey. Don't keep jumping out of those two story buildings though! Best wishes to you all,
Wilf

Hi Guys. nice to see You made it to your first refueling stop without too many injuries. Looks cold there with the bergy bits around the boat. Hope You got something to eat while ashore. Good Luck, God Speed and God Bless...Gene

Safe in port
Hi Dad and the rest of the crew. I just heard you had to turn back to Greenland because of the storm. I'm glad to hear you are all safe and actually have a REAL bed to sleep in tonight. Stay safe!
Alan, I'm holding you to your pledge to return Dad home safely.

Hello Egbert et al
Hi Guys!
Egbert, your voice was heard on CBC radio this morning. I didn't catch it myself, but I heard you sounded somewhat stressed! Is the adventure about half over?
We are all thinking about you and, yes, prayers are being said. We're looking forward to hearing of your safe arrival, and details of all the ups and downs along the way.
God Bless,
Fr. Christopher

Hey guys, hope you're getting on alright.
You'd better get back soon, my mum keeps staying up to listen to any news about you guys on the radio, and it seems they put it on at stupid hours of the morning.
