The route

Those of you following the satellite tracking of the boat may have wondered about the stop earlier today. It was a planned fuel stop, so no worries. Latest report on the team's web site here.

The complete route is as follows:

Leg - Departure - Arrival - Distance - Est
1 - Halifax - Port aux Basques - 295nm - 20 hrs
2 - Port aux Basques - St Mary's Harbour - 340 nm - 24 hrs
3 - St Mary's Harbour - Nanortalik - 594nm - 40 hrs
4 - Nanortalik - Reykjavik - 721 nm - 50 hrs
5 - Reykjavik - Thorshavn - 500 nm - 34 hrs
6 - Thorshavn - John O'Groats - 227nm - 16 hrs

The team are due back in Scotland around 17th August

That adds up to a total of just under 8 days where does the other 10 come into it?
