There are currently 11 registered, so it might be worth sending them a PM. You can use the advanced member search http://www.rib.net/forum/memberlist.php?do=search to see who they are . . .

Coxswain - boat Less than 12m up to 15 nautical mile from shore.

Restricted Coxawain - allows use of a tender up to 2 nautical miles from a ship

You can get area restricted coxswain tickets that allow you to master a boat in usually smooth or partially smooth water areas depending on where you are.

for training requirements see here

http://www.msq.qld.gov.au/qt/msq.nsf/index/nfg

It is pretty similar for most states

Ozzie Slang

Ya gonna ave to work on that ozzie slang of yours a bit mate.
You sound more like a South African to me ay.
Draw out your A's or drop them all together as in straaaalia instead of Australia.
Put an 'ay' at the end of your sentences when you what somebody to agree.
When you disagree with somebody say 'yeah nah'.
If somebody is a little bit crazy say "your as mad as a cut snake".
A big blow fly is called a "dunny budgie".
And tomato sauce is called 'dead orse' (horse) as in pass the dead orse.
And by the way it is XXXX (Four X) not XXXXX (Five X) and only Queenslanders drink it as it tastes like camel piss. Soon you'll be talkin like one of us aye.

Looks like it:

Other things though were reassuringly the same. One of the most striking aspects of Australian life is their unflinching straight forward attitude to it all. This is shown in some of the products that are for sale and marketing techniques that prove popular. For instance there’s a liquid for your car engine called "Start, yer Bastard", or a holiday offer entitled "Bugger Me, That’s Cheap" and one of the favourites was an Indian Restaurant imaginatively named "Red Ass Curries". Love it, you know just where you are!

Funny bastards

I wish I had a can of that 'start ya bastard' when I decided to drive my BRITISH Series II landriver around Oz. Also wish I had a can of get a 'rocket up yer arse' to make it go faster, and another 'its hot in here cool down a bit' when I crossed the desert. You sure know how to build things over there.
