Commercial Cabin RIBs?
Does anyone apart from Redbay make a cabin RIB with 12 forward facing seats?
It seems to me they have got this market cornered, or is there a reason!

The specification is 12 forward facing seats. I'm allowing the OP means 12 forward facing passenger seats, but I'll let that slide for now...

Might be worth giving Ribcraft a call to double check.

Well delta made this so probably can do it, but they don't have a reputation for being cheap http://www.hotribs.com/03press/198-d...delta-ribs.asp
The other person worth speaking to is Parker, they have some 16m boats. As I recall they were rigged with longitudinal benches but they can probably offer alternative layouts.

They do that in 12m too
If the pockets are deep enough I'm sure being a true "Custom" Rib Builder they'd Taylor it to your needs

Ali
Depending on how well funded your operation is then you could go for an ali rib
You can certainly do that with a ribworker 36/38/40 or 42 or Blyth Boats will custom make one for you.
a Hukkelburg MP10 0r 11 would do it out of the box and the are extremely well built but they are fkkn dear 200 plus but they are special and will last for decades.
The best GRP commercial boats in my opinion are MST closely followed by Delta and they both make custom boats..
Im hearing that Osprey are going to start producing commercial boats again. There commercial hull is a very impressive shape and nice and beamy too so you'd easy get 12 seats in their 9m.
Out of interest what length are you looking at and for what purpose. If its a relatively leisure based operation then almost any ribs are cool if they are big enough but if its/ offshore or military the are usually after certain build qualities

This appeared in Lamlash yesterday just as I was leaving on a charter; saw it heading back to Troon when I came back in - it seemed to be making a reasonable rate of progress...
