Commercial Courses Scotland

Hi anyone out there needing/wanting to do their sea survival? Ian has informed me of some courses running but im having difficulty fitting them in around my shifts so thought i'd post on her to see if i couldn't get enough people together for a course?

Probably look to get my Advanced Commercially endorsed sometime soon too but im not sure if this is done one to one or not

Hi again,

To commercially endorse your Advanced certificate you need to pass an exam conducted by an RYA Examiner. That can be done one-to-one, and because it's a fixed per-person fee set by the RYA it doesn't cost more that way unless you're having to charter the boat as well. It's not a great time of year to be planning night passages for the exam in Scotland (a couple of years ago we couldn't start until after midnight) Send me an email ian@seaskills.co.uk and I'll ping you back the full details

Ian

I would be up for doing the sea survival. Just wondering how much it would cost? Are there any age restrictions?

Thanks for that, i wouldn't go anywhere else Ian has been really helpful to me over the years.
Regarding location somewhere central would be good but it will really come down to where Ian can run the course.

Cammy,

Spoke to Ian 2day and he is a busy man currently catching some rays in sunnier climates!

He is struggling for weekends at the moment so the course looks like it could be run on a week day, no indication of location or cost as yet but he assures me he will look into it as soon as he is back
