Fuel duty reclaims

I have search net for the latest rates and come up with this

Effective duty rate per litre (£)
From 1 April 2008
= 0.5235
AND
Effective duty rate per litre (£)
From 1 April 2009 0.5419

Are these correct? or have I missed another rate change, Thank you

Go careful, there were alot of changes over the last couple of years. Have a look on the HMR&C website and search for the "historic duty rates".

Changes were made on the 01.12.08, 01.04.09, 01.05.09, 01.09.09, 01.04.10

Current rate is 0.5719

You can go back 3 years. As long as your claim is in excess of £250 you can claim as often as you like.

Check out here: http://customs.hmrc.gov.uk/channelsP...yType=document

You must also make your claim by date so you get the duty amount correct.

To find out the dates and amounts then look here:
