Qualified and experienced skipper looking for work in Plymouth!

Hi Guys,

I'm a student at Plymouth University and living here in Plymouth. I'm finding myself seriously short of money and so I'm looking for any work that anyone can give me! I will be here in Plymouth until Easter, home (Solent) for 3 weeks over Easter, back in Plymouth until 23rd May and then back home for the whole summer.

My qualifications are listed below:

Commercially endorsed RYA Offshore Yachtmaster
Commercially endorsed RYA Advanced Powerboat certificate holder
RYA Powerboat Instructor

I worked for Solent RIB Charter last summer and have plenty of sailing and powerboating experience at a commercial level. I can provide a reference if necessary.

You can contact me on jonny_moss1@hotmail.com or 07799 238206 is my mobile number.

Thanks a lot,

Jonny.

I can confirm that Jonny is a very skilled and trustworthy skipper. Having worked with him many times, I have no issue with personally recommending him to anyone!

Only jesting if Oli says he is ok then he should be.

well id like to think I work quite hard actually!

One of the best perks is being able rip into the boss quite so much without getting sacked!

Saying that getting Jonny out on some proper water not the solent, would show him what the real men are made of!

HAHA not sure I agree with the "what the real men are made of" comment but do agree with getting out on some water that isn't the Solent

aye aye skipper

Jonny have you thought of converting your YM to power that would open a lot more doors with a bigger paycheck.

Howdi,

Yeah I plan to do that but its just a question of building up the miles first. Not easy when I'm at uni. Should hopefully have it done by the end of the summer with any luck.

You dont need as many miles to convert. Pretty sure its 1250 whether you go from YM Sail to YM Power - or vice versa.

Yeah it's those I haven't got. Only decided that I wanted to do it recently. Please let me know if you hear of anybody that needs crew.

Thanks.
