Razorbill Ribs - up and running

Hi all,

as you may know, we recently purchased an Ocean Rib (6.5 not 675 as previously posted) which we have been working hard on to get into tip-top condition and which have just had Coded to Cat 4 by the RYA on the MCA's behalf.

We are also delighted to have just picked up our first significant commission for a public sector body!

The website is now up and running and can be viewed here (www.razorbillribs.co.uk) for anyone who is interested.....it's my first attempt at website design, so please bear that in mind when visiting! That said, any comments to improve the site are greatly appreciated.......

I would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone on here who has been so helpful in getting us to where we are today - Numerous PM's giving advice /sourcing of bits and pieces etc....special thanks to Tony Barber, Leapy, Jono Garton and Nasher and all the others who i've forgotten to thank!

It's long been an ambition to have a 'Boaty' job, and whilst I shan't be able to give up the Consultancy just yet, hopefully this is the first step towards that dream (and a 150 HP Optimax XL over the winter if Father Christmas is reading)

Dan

I'd love to claim I manufactured the tubes/installed the engine/wired the electronics...sadly, not. However, perhaps you could do a graphic for the console?

Sunday for beer definately!!

I'm at the naming ceremony for the new D class all day tomorrow (ceremony at 1500, but loads of cleaning etc to do from 0900).....

Will have the little one with us too, so won't be staying on for beers afterwards, so will deserve one Sunday! Fancy the Cardiff in Cilgerran or nearer you?

trim up/trim down - I knew I shouldn't have passed you!
but of course you were absolutely fine, you have to be to get past this latter day Victor Meldrew
All the best with your venture (and with the family-anyone who tells you it gets easier as they get older is telling ya fibs!) I hope it all works for you.

All the best.

Bits of news like this should help you a lot - maybe you could add some info to your website about? Pembrokeshire is the best place in the World to see dolphins - or something similar!!!

Thanks for the posts guys.........

That Dolphin Sighting is pretty amazing - although these guys are common Dolphins, round our way we have Bottlenose (have to travel towards Fishguard before you start picking up the Commons).

My friend (who took some of the pictures on the website) is on the board of SeaTrust with Cliff Benson and I have been dropping some serious hints to try and get a spin out to see the Common superpods if possible...........

A local fisherman friend recently had a pod of about 50 bottlenose travel with him about 2 miles off Cemaes head for an hour or so........most i have seen is about 20 working together feeding.

No matter how many times you see them it still makes me tingle!
