Safety crew wanted Saturday 13th
I have the possibility of a birthday charter, Southampton - Cowes - Southampton.
I will be Skippering myself, but my usual safety crew are not available.
Is there anyone who who like a trip out on the Parker to act as safety cover and keep an eye on the passengers. I would need a minimum of PB2 and first aid/sea survival would be helpful.
In return, a bit of fun out on the water at no cost, plus lunch and drink in Cowes.
Probable dep 11.30 and 1430 return
Regards
Steve

I'm supposed to be fishing out the Needles Saturday, but it looks as though it's going to be called off.
If you get stuck and I'm not going then I'd be happy to assist you steve.

Steve, Fishing has been cancelled due to high winds and rough weather
So I'm free to help you if you don't have a better offer.
PB2 and VHF but no First Aid or Sea survival.

The wife of the client has been spooked by the weather over the last week and does not want to go out, so unfortunately the trip has been cancelled. A shame as the forcast for Saturday is quite good.
Thanks for all the offers of help and PM's
Steve

Shame it's been called off. Consider me if you need assitance again, I have Powerboat Level Two, Powerboat Intermediate, Day Skipper (The theory one), Basic Firefighting certificate (Juneau Fire Department, Alaska, USA), Sea Survival (allthough I took this about 10 years ago in St Thomas), and a hip flask full of Rum ! I think youve got my number if not shout.

Sorry Andy but make the most of it, they grow up far too quickly and their demands and needs get far more expensive!

I jest of course
Anyway, Footy has been cancelled due to poor pitch condition and the Sun is nearly out. Boat maintenance mode has been switched on and I have a few holes to fill and a new Plotter/Sonar to fit.

Should have gone out anyway and blown a few cobwebs away! Glad you enjoyed your day out.
Will post a thread shortly for a pre-xmas trip to the Folly
