STCW PST Instructor
Apparently you do not require a formal qualification to teach Personal Survival Techniques Course!
"If you do not have any formal teaching qualifications and if you are not employed by an MCA approved PST training centre, the course will give you the basic underpinning knowledge necessary to become a PST instructor.
However, there is no statutory requirement for PST instructors to hold this qualification - please refer to attached MNTB criteria."
