Forum Update on Monday - Q & A
This coming Monday the Forum Software and 'skin' will be updated. It is possible that there will be a brief period when the board is not online, but we hope to keep it to a minimum.
There will be some nifty new features and a new look. After the initial upgrade we will continue to tweak settings and so ask for your indulgence whilst this is being undertaken.
Here's a sneak peak at the new look:

Looks good.... But!
Could we have the "Recent Discussions" as a button/link on the main menu page?
I like the Idea of using "Recent Discussions", but it takes up too much space on my desktop (and judging by other peoples comments) and the only way of toggling it is to go though user CP. Much better to have a button in my opinion.

We've been away for a long week-end and I've only just caught this. I don't know what I've done to deserve the honour but 'tis indeed me! Well spotted.

Looks good
hopefully it will all go well and give us all a nicer expriance on our favorite forum.
I'm assuming that following recent discussions the daft box on the right will be fully removable as a option.
Nasher.

Brilliant! Great improvement.
But, yes, it is more obvious that it isn't work!!
Congratulations and thanks to all for the hard work involved in the changes.

Now that David is the poster boy, do we all have to grow beards and drink Shiraz?

Seconded!
Can we have a "highly reduced visuals so it looks a lot less like Ribnet & more like work" option?
Like the additional smilies!
