Hi JK
There seems to be some problem with the 'user profiles'. The boat lengths seem to be showing the make or name.

Scroll down and look under "Additional options". Where it says "Attach files" click on "Manage attachments". You can then browse for attachments and upload them.
Please note This will open a new window, so you must disable any pop-up killing software. You should be able to do this on a site by site basis without any problem (I use Google toolbar and it works very well).

Yeah, avatars would be a nice addition and make the site a bit more personalised!!

Just another question.
Is there any reason why the IMG Code is OFF in the edit signature screen??

I have just found that if you hover the pointer over the title of each thread up pops the first entry. (Although not all of them). A very clever bit of kit

Does anyone else find the colours a bit pale? I can hardly tell the difference between old and new threads.

The colours seem ok to me, not that I am oposed to a bit of contrast you understand.

I see what you mean Keith. John is using about 4/5 diferent shades of blue and packing more data onscreen seems to mean smaller icons and therefore it tests the old eyesight a bit. I struggle especially with "is the envelope open or not" bit on the RIBnet Forums home page.

The colour scheme itself is as near to unchanged as I could get it. I do think that the thread icons (the envelopes) do look a bit ghostly though and I'll have a look at changing them.
I'm still not convinced about avatars, as I really don't think that they would add anything to the forums. I may make them an option at some time. The profile section alongside each post is already quite big, and would get even bigger. Manos, I know that you want an avatar. Telling me over and over again won't make any difference!
Image tag is turned off in signatures to stop you putting pictures there
I won't have much time to sort anything out over the next few days, as I've got a brand new baby daughter to play with (Florence Louise, born 3 April, 6lb 8). I managed to do the upgrade while Becky was in labour (!) but I'm a bit busy now.
So have an explore, keep on letting me know what you like and don't like about the new forums, and I will get back to you before too long!
Cheers
John
