Now this is weird, first of all I'm using the iPhone app on ios7....
When I click on a post & select Quote & try to edit the original post that I'm quoting, e.g. To cut out any irrelevant bits. The magnifying glass appears to enable me to position my cursor, BUT the text in the magnifying glass is not what's on the page, it's about Hitler becoming chancellor of Austria???? It only happens on the Ribnet app, go figure

In his defence, I rather liked Adolf Hitler's early art (google it, he was a very good artist) it's just when he came into power all turned to apocalyptic dust, and for that, I am allowed to hate him, and not care whether his work sells....

Either the ribnet app is compromised by a virus or you have a virus or malware on your smartphone. And before anyone says you cant get viruses on phones, yes you can.

It maybe a temorary bit of malware in memory, so turning off and on may solve it, if it doesnt then could be the ribnet app or your smartphone has something more permanent. You could try a complete re install of the operating system but that may be a bigger pain if you lose your data, there are some smartphone antivirus products around that might help. If you have got some form of malware or virus on your phone then remember not to access any online banking etc from your phone.

I stopped the app & restarted, all good now. I also had Wikipedia open & I had previously searched for Anschluss, which what was appearing in the magnifying glass. I'm guessing something got stuck in the gubbins somewhere.
