How do I post photos?

There may be an obvious solution - but I just can't seem to post photos anymore.
When I try to I get asked to "Please enter the URL of your image" and the box where you are meant to put this starts http:// - but what am I meant to enter in the box?

It used to give an option to browse my PC, then I could select and upload the image. Everyone else seems to post photos still so what am I doing wrong?
It's the same whether I use Google Chrome or IE9.

Thanks for helping.

Trev, I don't think anything has changed - but I often do the same thing (clicking the yellow icon with the grey "mountains" in it - this is for linking to pictures elsewhere on the web (e.g. in Flickr)). The icon that lets you attach a picture from your own computer is the paperclip icon - this will then bring up a dialogue box so you can browse to the file and "upload".

Aah - That's what I was doing wrong!
Maybe the icon names could be modified to help others? - or maybe the "yellow mountains" icon could just be re-named as I thought "insert image" meant put a picture in!

Anyway - Thanks for the help - now where did I leave the tender....

Whoops

Judging by that water it would be likely to come up with a turd in the rowlocks so I would choose where to sit with some caution
