Hi anyone, back in Nov 2017 I posted three fuel tank for sale in bits 'n pieces. I now want to edit that post to show that the tank are FREE ! There isn't an EDIT button next to my post (time expired maybe ?), how to find edit or should I delete it and start again ? Any help appreciated ... anyone want 3 diesel tanks

Hi Mike, the easiest thing to do is just add a reply to your original post. That has the added benefit of bringing it back to the top of the page.

Alternatively if you prefer to start again with a new ad just drop me a line and I'll delete the original.

By the way, editing is restricted to a shortish amount of time after posting so that discussions don't get messed up by people rewriting history or deleting things. That's why you can't find the edit button.

Ideally we could set it up differently for the sales sections, but it's a global setting across all the forums so we don't have that option.

Hi John, many thanks and nice to hear from you. It all happens at once ... the tanks have now been sold to a RIB.netty in S'oton so prob best if you'd be so kind as to delete the original advert ! We're moving house so I'll be getting my head around the 'bits and pieces' part of the site. Best wishes, Mike.
