You really have missed the point haven't you.
I'll let the others play with you today, I'm too busy enjoying life, safely, to bother today.

I’m assuming that this is another profile set up by the resident troll. Hedging his bets.

Well that's a bit unnecessarily unfriendly.

Yep, you're a total armchair expert here tbh. We "mechanics" don't fit your tires at all. Tire fitters do that, and the level of qualification for a tire fitter is comparatively very low. Your whole expert theory is nonsense.

Yup! Alter-ego, he’s tried it before. Two polar opposite opinions, who’d ever suspect they were one & the same[emoji6]

'ere, you don't think it's Steffers, do you? The entire profile could be dodgy, but the posting pattern certainly smells of FUD
The tendency to spell Tyre as Tire supports the US flavored profile, but trolls rely on details like that to deflect attention...
On that note, bear in mind also that the forum has a member who has been banned several times and maintained a stable of pseudo-usernames that were also banned but not widely known about. The same individual has been banned on multiple fora, multiple times. They appear to derive satisfaction from their activities, despite widespread disapproval. It's said to be a low self-esteem issue...

JK & Poly can generally see who it is behind the scenes - the "old" vBulletin software lets you cross reference IP Addresses between user accounts fairly easily.
But for this particular person, ignore is the answer. Didn't there used to be a feature where you could blacklist a user and stop block seeing threads & posts from them?
Suspect I may be on a few peoples list myself!

Absolutely, don’t feed the troll. Then their raison d’etre ceases to be.
FYI

On the web version it’s in “user cp”, look down the left hand side to “edit lists” it’s in there.

Apologies to the OP for the serious thread drift, could the mods please split this off to a separate thread. Thanks.

Why didn't I find this function earlier, it makes reading posts about maintenance and such like much more pleasurable. I find I'm learning something and not getting annoyed.

What happens when you ignore/block a user (apart from the obvious) is there a gap in the thread where the blocked user has commented? Does the person who’s been blocked still see your posts or are your posts withheld from them?
