I'd post a pick but the app is crap at the moment. Since ios7 it's not worked with photos.
Suffice to say my foot looks like a black and blue Kerny Herman sausage!

Probably best you all have a moan on here - maybe Social Knowledge will take pity on you. I doubt it though, as they have no control over the App's development.

Point taken W. But should they not have some responsibility towards their members. There must be some sort of contract?! Sent from my iPhone using Rib.net

AFAIK, the developer of the App has nothing whatsoever to do with S-K so no contract/contact. I'm fairly sure John Kennett has mentioned this a few times. Personally, I always thought that the App was sh1te and never used it on my android, so no skin off my nose!

I think that the app is just a rebadged version of a standard app called Forum Runner. The issues all started for me immediately after the Ribnet server upgrade. So it seems reasonable to surmise that the new forum server software / hardware is not playing nicely with the iPad / Android Forum Runner app.

Agreed. After all, for every one having a moan on the forum there could be two or three dissing the website to their mates - and what will that do to the good name of RibNet?

Problem is uploading photos on safari.
But it was simple with the app. My photos are all on iCloud, I never use a laptop.

I like using Ribnet via the App on a phone or tablet. It means that I can have a browse and reply to some threads in any spare couple of minutes I have in between doing other things. The app problems are a real pain.
If you make something harder to use, or less convenient to use, people will eventually use that thing less, that's just human nature.

WHY would you use the App on a tablet? Surely the browser provides more functionality? I use Chrome on an Android phone to view RIBnet and believe me, I use it a lot...
