More problems

I seem to have lost the use of the "insert link" button in IE11 on win7. If tried all the usual, but it doesn't work. I can click the button, but it doesn't open the dialogue box for the URL. It only seems to happen, when I'm replying to a thread, If it's a new thread (like this one) it works. I've tried the "go advanced" option, but it's the same.

( & no Poly, I don't want to install Chrome)
