Can't a picture be inserted without it being hosted at a url????

Click 'go advanced' and 'manage attachments' to upload files.

I just use external hosting always for forum pics - no size limits and much more flexible - no account needed - click below and upload then copy and paste 'BBfull' links:

Call me thick but I still don’t get it. Where do I find ‘go advanced’? I don’t know why it’s so difficult to put a photo on.

It's a button below the reply box if using quick reply. If you use the Post Reply button for the larger reply window you need to look below the window for Manage Attachments.
