Andy - I'm new to the whole SMART phone thing (less than 2 hours!) but I found the ribnet app by searching for "ribnet" in the Market app that came on my phone.
EDIT: Ahha - here is the QR code:

Oh I hope not - folks would have to be nice to me then and I'd never survive the shock. You go for it though, I was nice to you anyway so no skin off my nose

RIBnet will always remain free. All the sites that are part of Social Knowledge work on the same setup John already had in place. The service is paid for by advertisers, guests see more ads then members, etc. I know John has the system setup to allow all members to turn off ads, I am not sure if we will keep that for new members but if we do make a change there all members who registered before the change will be able to keep this feature and new members would have to upgrade to turn off all ads. When we make changes we will try our best to include an option to set it back if you prefer.

This seems like a good time to say hello and beg for a topic change. It's a pleasure to be the latest newbie. I work with Andy and will be around to help out as needed. Trying to forget about the mankini thing now...
