Hi John

I think there may be a problem with rib.net - A couple of times today - at
work and at home when I tried to access the site I got a message from the
Apache server saying I do not have access to root - permision denied (I
think!)

Now I've just gone to get a screen capture it seems to be working!!

Www.rib.net/forums has been OK throughout.

Cheers
Jools

I was getting an identical message (but for a different address)from efforts to mail a company that I mail frequently, it lasted for 2 days 3 or 4 days ago and only applied to some of their addresses!

It appeared to "clear itself", inasmuch that they took no action and I did nothing and the mails were working normally again after the glitch period, so may not be a problem with RIBnet but perhaps something in the arcane mysteries of net routing.

John - I've had problems with RibNet today. I kept getting the message:

You don't have permission to access /features.htm on this server.

>>>>>>>>>>>>

I tried to email you but that was bounced back as well.

Regards

Thanks for the heads-up! I've just moved the main site to a different server, and it's not going as smoothly as it should

Normal service will be resumed shortly. Please do not adjust your sets . . .

About 25% of the time you should be able to access rib.net, and about 75% will fail

If anyone is interested, the primary DNS has the correct information but the three secondaries are hanging on to the old information which points to where the site used to be.

I hope to have it sorted soon.
