Ribnet down for 12 hours!

Sooo...what was the cause of the downtime last night and this morning? I began to suffer withdrawal symptoms

I started having palpitations and wondering what the hell we'd all do if it disappeared for ever. Not even worth thinking about

We had a server hiccup and I apologize for the interruption. You took the extra time off to clean your desk off right?

Well I have. There's a RIBnet Bookface page where we can meet up and plot our Resurrection if things go pear shaped on here...

During the next outage, someone pop on there and stick a candle in the window for the rest of us!

It's scheduled to be archived, is that bad? Bloomin' confusing having everyone's real names on it as well, I've forgotten if any of us are real.

You should post something on it, see if that helps. I don't do Bookface

Why are me making contingency plans for regular server hiccups, are they likely to common?

I don't suppose it makes much sense while RIBnet is around - it is a sort of Bookface (for some of us ). I was thinking more as a contingency measure - a liferaft as it were, until the I.T. SAR teams arrived.....

Still damned if I'm joining Bookface tho
