Scheduled downtime 10pm GMT 14 Feb 07
RIBnet will be down for around one hour tonight for a server software upgrade.
For anyone interested, we're upgrading to PHP5 in preparation for some exciting new stuff

Oh no not more "improvements" - if it ain't broke don't fix it!!!
Boatlaunch is a classic example - USED to be a great site - never bother with it now.

You really are lacking in the social skills department aren't you?
I don't think that the 1998 static html version of RIBnet was better than what we've got now. It wasn't broken, but as things progressed there was scope to grow and improve . . .
Why not wait and see what the developments are before shouting your mouth off?

I've just discovered Biggles, if you support JK's excellent site (which, like all things, actually costs money to run ) and fork out for Trade or Platinum membership, you get to put a little picture on your profile!
After all, what's Ł100 if you own a Ł15k rib...

OK, we're back
You shouldn't see any changes to the forums. There's a bit of a glitch in the Trade Directory which will be sorted out shortly.
Any other problems, please let me know.
John

Can you check you haven't got a cached page? Crtl-F5 to reload it.
If you're still seeing that error message can you tell me exactly where so I can sort it.
Thanks!
John

Already cleared the cache before I posted it (didn't want to look like too much of a fool...)
It's in Davies Coaching's entry in the trade directory:
http://rib.net/directory/index.php?R...70&subsubcat=0
I've also noticed the same for Neil Holmes, Absolute Aqua, Crest Dive Centre, and a few others, although it's not across the board - some work fine.

Thanks. I get that too (which is good, because it means I can sort it!).
We'll track it down . . .
