Site redirect hack

Hey mods,

For months now maybe 1 in 20 visits on a mobile using the desktop version of the site I get redirects to various android adverts to claim free phones or the like.

I'm going to assume there is a compromise in the coding on one of the folders due to permissions. As I can only get it on my mobile I'm unable to trace exactly where it is coming from to give more info and vbulletin isn't my forte.

I will see if I can grab a screenshot next time it happens.

This isn't a hack really it's an issue with crappy ads on the mobile version and unwanted cookies. The solution is to: clear your cache and cookies and do a restart. See if it helps

It isn't a cache or cookies issue unfortunately.

Only reason I posted was I took new phone out of box and fired up rib.net as soon as it booted up and bingo....redirect. 2 phones on spin are doing this ( galaxy s9 plus and s8 plus )

It has been happening for months but I put it down to the device but it only happens on mobile and only with rib.net in desktop compatability mode on mobile chrome, never had it on tablet or desktop.

If I knew more about vbulletin I may be able to offer more but unfortunately networking and domains are my bag.
