Track Messages?

When I'm on my profile on the left hand side of the page they is a bit that says "track messages" what is this for and how do I use it?

When you send a PM you can track whether or not it has been read - you need to select the "Request a read receipt for this message" option before you send the PM.

"Track messages" allows you to see which are still unread.
