150 Verado Issues

I have done 22 hrs now on my verado and it has had a few issues;

one day cut out and would not rev more than 1000rpm now has new ecu

now wont restart after long trip till its had a rest for 5 mins dealer cant find anything wrong?

smartcraft guages cut in and out as they please and recalibrate the fuel side of things for me very annoying!

anyone else had these problems ?

Matt

No problems with mine but know some dealers are weak. Why not give Barrus a call, they are very helpful.

Sounds as if the management system is trying to do something, but if the ecu has already been replaced, it suggests they havnt sorted the sensor that was sending the fault in the first place

Hi Matt,

Do you live in Salcombe? We must meet up! Tony is an excellent engineer, and he has all of the technology to cope with Verados, so if he can't sort it out it's buggered!

Verados definitely like sitting a bit high on the transom, so it's probably where it belongs by the sound of things! Glad you're all sorted out now - if you need to get hold of Mike Williams let me know!
