The link won't open to see the diagram but I assume you mean the tilt pin in yours is solid and therefore no facility for through the tilt pin steering? If that's the case it's not a problem you can use a transom steering mount that bolts to the transom and has a ball joint affair to allow turning and tilting the end of the cable goes direct to the engine
Alternatively you can get a transom clamp plate that comes with a steering tube that sits just below your mounting clamps and works just like the tilt pin steering connected via a link bar
