2 Stroke Fuel Consumption Evinrude 250/Opti 225

Hi,

Does anyone have any reliable fuel consumption data for the Evinrude 250di and the Opimax 225 on an 8m rib?

Cheers.

Yep i do have a fair bit on the Opti but it's on a heavy boat 7,3 mtr gemini usually with 10 people on it at 5 k she burns about 80 LPH this is running at around 45 MPH If you want to find out for yourself bring down a can of fuel and take the Opti for a spin.

I suspect the Scorpion would be way lighter and therefoe much more economic Although these figures are very close to the consumption my mate gets from his Yammie 225 4 stroke

All will be revealed when AshleyD has agreed a deal on a replacement engine package. At this stage I can say that they have been very quick to respond & very helpful.

Hi Rogue,

Thanks for the kind offer. We may take you up on that one

80LPH is about 18 GPH right? This is much better than we thought & pretty close to the figures we got with the 225 four stroke.

Regards.
