2004 150 Mercury Optimax

Hi,

Newbie here...

I looking at buying a RIB that has a 2004 150 Mercury Optimax, that has apparently been well looked after, serviced and has all paperwork from new. It has done over 300 hours.

This is an aging engine, so should I have any major concerns?

Thanks

300 hours is nothing, just get shot of it before it hits 800

and welcome

300hrs is nothing.

It's fairly common for the typical leisure to do only between 20-100 hours per season.

It's 7 years old so has only had nice light use and if regularly serviced should give you years of fun. Best of luck.

Some commercial boys on here get well in to the multiples of 4 digits!!
