2004 Merc. Optimax/Smartcraft check paddle alarm

2004 Optimax 200 Smartcraft check paddle alarm, goes off every few minutes or so, any idea or any help.

Yeah I get the "check pitot" thing quite a bit. I get the impression the paddle wheel etc is a little on the sensitive side and chucks a fit for no apparent reason.

I just ignore it.

Hard to ignore

You must not have the same annoying alarm I do, that goes off every 45 secs or so. Is there a way to disable it? have you figured out a way to do that? please advise.
