2004 Tohatsu 90hp Advice.

Hi Guys

I am unsure what my engine is worth . It is a 2004 Tohatsu 90hp with 72hrs on it. I am thinking of possibly sticking it on my Spankers (great condition not new) 5.4m Avon Searider or my Mk1 Rigid Raider or maybee even selling it. The engine looks brand new and as you can see, it has not done hardly any hours running.
Any thoughts?

I'd bite your arm off for it if I had the money right now. Let me know if you do decide to sell and for how much.

EDIT: Not sure how much it would be worth either. I assume its a normal 2 stroke and not the TLDI version? If so I'd take a stab in the dark at between £2-2500, perhaps more?

2004 would be the older grey colour. If it's on carbs, I'd suggest you advertise it for around £2k, as slimtim suggested.
There's 90 Yams of similar vintage available at the moment for around £2200. A Twatsoo is always going to struggle against that sort of competition, so you may have to take a bit of a drop.

Thanks guys for the response. The Twatsoo is a Carb (Grey Engine cover) I was thinking about 2.5-3k as that is what I paid for a 2001 Yammy 90. This engine has a larger displacement and is pretty much as new (72hrs)
Allthough my Yammy 75 Pro has just done 3300 hrs to date and is still as strong as an ox. I wouldnt swop any of my 5 Yammys for the world.

RIBase
I reckon at least £2,800. There's a 2001 Yamaha at Bill Higham for £2,995 (expensive I know). Also at Outboard Services (Isle of Man). Few at Wills Marine (but on boats).
