I have been looking on etec owners forum about drilling a hole in the air box, but I cant find any photos or guides - just people saying do it.
Anyone on here got a how to / photos?

I have herd on the other forums it helps with the pickup. Something apparently that Evinrude recommended and changed on future designs.

Get a look at a later airbox and replicate it?
I'd make sure you can plug it up if need be though.Airflow is a strange and mysterious beastie if you get it wrong.
