2011 Mercury 2.5 Carb Float Height

Hi there,

I have this 2011 Mercury 2.5 hp that's having running issues. I think it has something to do with the float height in the carb.

Does anyone know what the height should be set at?

Thanks
Angharad

A dounut float floats and aligns against hinge, float should be parallel to carb squared base, that's on 2 strokes engines, probably same carb building type used on 4 strokes ? Your carb probably needs a good soak in carb clean formula for some hours specially if it's a 2 strokes.

Happy Boating

They usually have running problems and its usually mixture problems as they are set very lean from the factory. But as said its under warranty get it fixed by your dealer!!
