Very hard to value.

An EFI 2-stroke 250 drinks fuel like it's out of fashion - if it wernt new that no more than a £2000 engine, is it worth twice that just because it's never been used ?

I'm not sure.

If it's new and unregistered and came with a manufacturers warranty, then I guess it's probably worth about a £1,000 more than any other 2002 engine of the same type with history and low hours. If it's not got a manufacturers warranty, the fact that it's new won't count for much I'm afraid.
