Hi guys. I have a 4hp merc as my aux engine. Half way down the leg there is a hole which is used to access the clamp on the gear shift rod when dropping the gearbox off. Is there supposed to be some sort of cap to cover this hole? When running it spits water all over the place as the exhaust gasses escape through here instead of through the centre of the prop...? Not as bad when underway obviously.
