840hp supercharged big block

was down at the RIB doing couple of bits and bobs with LT and the owner of a flats power boat i have been sitting beside turned up to charge the battery and take the cover off.....wow....... unfortunately no overall boat pics as only took the engine cover off.

still being ran in (5 hours old) and had it upto 90mph already.

the owner was saying he was asked to leave loch lomond due to the noise as it was straight headers, now it has some muffling in it so he is testing it some more.

if anyone is at loch lomond tomorrow you will probably see it there, you will definitely hear it that is for sure as i've heard/seen it on loch before.

wonder how that would work in a ribcraft 6.8

Doh......I walked straight into that one..!

Sarcasm answered with sarcasm...!

Those guys have definitely got a death wish, and cannot be wired up right. I have water ski'ed at about 40 mph, and it scared the living daylights out of me, nevermind 135 mph......

yeah, but those guys are doing it on a lake. You have to do that in the ocean, annual mainland to Catalina ski race. 26 miles each way or so. Big offshore powerboats, multiple 800hp engines

And the winner this year was an Australian! In fact, out of the first ten skiers to cross the finish line, 7of them were Aussies

The Catalina race isn't really a good example of Ski Racing, as the max hull length in International racing is 21 foot. and 52 miles is a short race length!
