Looking at a 98 90hp zuuki two stroke for around $2k US and wondering how much do they weight, how do they compare to a 90 yami two stroke? should I hold off and get a yami ? This will be going on a 1977 Avon 5.4 SR thanks

A de-tuned version of the DT100. A very nice 60 degree, 1419cc, V4 (I have one ) with lots of torque. Weighs 153kg. Yam is an inline 3 cyl 1140cc unit, weighing 117 kg and is probably better suited to a SR5.4, due to its lesser weight on a narrow beam RIB. The Soozook would be my choice though, all things being equal (age, cost, condition, etc.)

That one sounds good value if it's in decent condition.

If the Soozook is clean and only around $2k, then it sounds a real good buy compared to a Yam for $3k+
