A big public thanks to Davie..:)

Just a public 'thanks' to RIBNET member Davie who when I was after two little bits for the Yam ( Oil tank cap and throttle link) , put them both in the post from the other end of the country for nothing ! - Despite me offering and asking what the cost was.

I dont think he is regular 'poster'...but does go a long way to maintain my faith that there are just 'nice guys' out there

BY all accounts he has an outboard grave yard - the sort of place I'd love to spend a few hours .

Pete

+1 for Davie - yes he has graveyard, where all good engines want to go when they die.

lol - you need to deleted a few pms Davie!

I am looking for short leg for my 4 four stroke Yam - so I can use on tender...it's one of the first 4 four stroke on market you sold me.

I never used it since transom space issues, so brand new ...

Davie, interested in the bits to add Power trim and tilt to a manual tilt 20HP 2 str Yam if you have the bits around! Obviously in exchange for many beer vouchers.

Broke another 30DETOL. Closest you will find to fitting but you will need to modify lower mounts as your engine was never made with power trim.

Should have. I will have a look in the morning. Yours should have electronic advance arm but does it rotate clockwise or anticlockwise to advance the ignition? What colour are the wiring plugs? Better still pm your serial number. Davie

Davie, aye, I was aware it wasn't a simple plug and play. If you think its feasible though I am interested. Feel free to PM me with a price for whatever bits you've got (and if you can point out any bits that will then be missing).

We done this years ago but remember what we used. I need to find a 20/25 twin carb leg for measurements.
