Advice please: propeller for HONDA BF100 and RIB 5,4m HIGHFIELD OM540DL

Hello,

I have used below mentioned link to obtain prop data:

https://www.mercurymarine.com/en/us/...tor/#/step-one

I have selected RIB and "overal good performance" in Step 2.
There is not BF100 on the list so I selected BF90 instead of.
I do not have a boat jet so I selected option "provide weight".
Boat: 400 kg
People and gears: 340 kg (4*50kg+90kg + some gears)
Tank: 100 L

And as a results I received advice to install 18 pitch prop.
3x13x18

When selected "Mid range cruise/fuel economy" results was 3x13x19

I will use boat mostly in Greece. 3 kids, wife (each 50 kg), me 90 kg, 10L spare fuel, snorkel equipment, ...

Every day trips 20,50,100,120 km in one way. Usually on calm Sea (early morning) but we can face some waves 50 cm. In worst scenario 1m.

Maybe occasionally I will tow some 1 person on tube.
I do prefer ALOY prop - better to damage prop not engine ...
My friend from HONDA MARINE in Poland advice me 3x13x17 prop.

For 6 weeks in Greece I do prefer to have 1 spare prop as minimum.

What size will you advice me ? 17 and 19 ? 18 and 19 ?

Many thanks in advance for any suggestion. I'm not experienced boat owner.
I will not troll, so "normal cruise" mostly (hope 35-45 km/h)

I have 19" VIPER and REBEL props.
All you need - make the test.
Nominal load (if you go in 4 persons - try it with 4 persons).

Test WOT - max RPM.
If you have 5600 or more your prop is proper.
If too high (over 6000) - select bigger pitch
If not reach 5600 - select smaller pitch

that's all

this is confusing...

do you a 19 pitch or a 19" diameter
3 or4 blade?

to be clear, what is the pitch and what is the diameter you reccommed?

VIPER and REBEL are 3 blades.
19 is pitch
Diameer of VIPER is 14", REBEL 15"

I have also 4 blades korean prop. 20" pitch.
It is economical but I do prefer REBEL (better grip)

Which HIGHFIELD do you have. In your description I can see 6m+
Is it 640 ? And HONDA 90 ONLY !!!
If it is 590 or 640 and HONDA 90 I do suggest to start with pitch 17.

I do have OM540DL and 115 HO EVINRUDE.
If you have more power you can use bigger pitch (usually)
Recommended for OM590 is 130 HP.
For 640 even 150 HP
