Yep-but 1/4" didn't make a noticeable difference (ooerr missus etc)
I had a 14" and a 13" on it before. It handles both OK( until really tall waves and 3 people aboard then the 13" is preferrable) I forgot to say-the one I've bought is a 14".
If you're buying standard ally props from mercruiser you won't be able to avoid diameter changes-it's apparently to do with the blades for 10"-14"all being pressed from the same blank. I suspect it'll be the same deal for all standard props. Don't know about s/s-never bought one.
