Buying new 2 strokes

I am aware that buying a new 2 stroke in the UK for leisure use is illegal and I am also aware that there are ways of doing it.

I see from various posts that certain people have bought new Tohatsu 9.8 and Yamaha 15 hp 2 strokes and are using them for what looks like leisure. Perhaps they have a commercial use also

I am wondering and I am sure others are wondering where they bought them and the real world process they followed

IF this happens, do you really think people will broadcast it? 🤷🏼

Do keep up... and Suzuki, Mercury, Selva, Misc Chinese etc.

Nothing has changed since you last asked under a previous username Smallribber some years ago... or when you participated in many threads where folks have discussed it over the past few years... or where you participated in threads where folks were quite open they'd bought new. I also note with you both opposing and advising depend on how you felt that day.

You have also recently praised a company that you should have noted sell new 2T motors on Ebay. Then very recently when there was an "illegal" 2021 Yamaha 15 2T on Ebay you said it was only price stopping you buying.

So in truth you already know all you need to know and I see no reason to deviate from my statement in your thread below... It's all conjecture until a specific person contacts a specific dealer.

Love this . I've just joined an ebike forum. He's either on there or got some weird copycat.
I'm about to suggest to the mods on there that they install an 'ignore' facility . Works a treat on here.
