Got the old brute fired up yesterday which Im most pleased with, cleaned all the connections around starter and soleniod with petrol, rubbed down with sandpaper and then wd40 and a wipe, jumped off my subaru whilst running, voltage meter showed 13.7volts were getting there this time
- big cloud of blue smoke to start with as I sprayed a little in the carbs, it went fairly easily! however wasnt pumping water through tell tale though so had find a way to turn if off quick without anykind of controls plumbed in!! panic panic!!
mananged to push on a rod which did something to the carbs which slowed the idle speed right down to an eventual death! -phew
now time to get that bottom leg off and inspect water pipes and impellor
