chaoyue left hand plastic prop

Please don't laugh, but in the summer I purchased a 2.5 hp chaoyue (china) 2 stroke outboard purely as a back up engine.
Its like brand new, runs well, but the previous owner had broken the plastic prop.

no problem I thought.......I emailed chaoyue and they replied no prob well send you one free!!!! you just need to pay the postage.........of £90!

so I need a left hand plastic prop about 7 inch x 4 pitch sheer pin type.

found one!

an evinrude 2 hp left hand plastic prop is almost identical. the only difference is mine has a 12mm shaft and evinrude is 10mm so just had to drill the prop to 12mm to take the larger shaft. the distance between the sheer pin hole and the split pin cavity is identical!!
result!
