Charging voltage on Yam 90?

When battery is not 100% full or when using running lights, charging voltage is roundabout 14.5 V, But when battery is 100% full and I am not not using any electricity, voltage goes up to max 15,4 V ,but never more.

Swapped to a fresh battery(65 or 70 amp, don't remember), same result, when full, voltage is a tad high. Behavior is very consistent, no unexpected fluctuation occurs. But as mentioned any significant use of power and it drops normal level. Is the regulator going or is it just normal as "no way to go" for the electricity when battery is full?

Mine's usually at 14.8v when running and revving according to my GPS, but drops a bit when lights are on or at tickover. Never below 13.8v though.

There's almost no current at 15.4V, well there shouldn't be. Its dropping when you put a slight load on it which is to be expected. If you aren't boiling off electrolyte or ruining sealed AGM batteries by the "high" voltage I wouldn't worry about it.

OK, thanks for replies. Not to worried about the batteries, main concern was if this might damage other engine electronics. But guess its OK then, will keep a close look on things.
