Checkin of a Alpha one gen 2 drive ?
Any advice would be highly appreciated! I am going to check a used Alpha one gen 2 drive
(upper and lower unit, dismantled from a boat). Considering oil is OK, and the drive keeps pressure, is there anything that one can do to evaluate the condition of the unit?
Assume the propeller shaft should not have much flex in any direction but other things one do to "dry" check the unit?
