Consumption estimate for Yamaha F150 4 stroke

Has anyone had any experience with or could help with a estimate for fuel consumption?. At an average speed of 30knts. I'm trying work out a reasonable fuel budget for next season bearing in mind i'll probaly do about50-60hrs. Any suggestions?.

I'm averaging about 1.2 litres/nm in slight seas with my 200 Optimax. That's with full fuel (200 litres) and 4 on board, cruising about 33 knots. The Tornado weighs in about 1250kg before the crew board.

Would have thought that about 1 litre/nm would be prefectly achievable with the Yahama F150 on your boat (which I'm sure will be less than 1250kg), with similar loadings and slight seas.

Hope this is of some use - maybe a F150 owner on the forum will be able to give you a more accurate figure.

Jim

£300 should cover it. . Split it with which ever mates go with you, that's how we did it when I was a youngster. Otherwise they get all the fun for none of the cost.

I calculated it ...

But it seems to be different on the type of boat on which is is...

The 150 lines indicate a Yamaha 4 stroke with 150hp, the E-tec is the E-tec 150hp. You'll notice the E-tec also suck fuel !!!
There is also a line with a 90hp E-tec.

Enjoy
