Convert Honda BF130 to counter rotate

Hi
I have twin BF130's and i want to convert one of the engines to rotate toward he other as i've been told that it will make it more efficient - is that true?
And how do i do it?
Thanks
Deitubby

It's unlikely to improve efficiency (too small to measure) but it will make the boat handle better at higher speeds - you need to change one of the gearboxes to a left hand one and change the gear control cable to operate in the opposite direction.

........... And buy a left hand prop!
